Peggy is written by Heather Monro, and beautifully illustrated in full colour throughout by Mark Jensen (pictured below). It is the first title in "Backyard" series of childrens books.

Peggy is a story about a washing line.

There is mayhem in the backyard on washing day when the birds come for a visit. Find out what Mum has to do to keep the birds away.
